“If a young child has been able in his play… to give up his whole living being to the world around him… he will be able in the serious tasks of later life, to devote himself with confidence and power to the service of the world” Rudolf Steiner

Nestled in a quiet, peaceful place on the Constantia Waldorf School property, you will find a hidden gem, the Parent and Toddler Group classroom. As the children play in the beautiful gardens one can hear the birds singing and see the butterflies dancing. This is a time to be present with your child and unplug from the busy life of today.

The Parent and Toddler group mornings offer a nurturing environment for children to play and explore and for parents to connect with others on a similar journey, sharing parenting issues, forming a supportive group and learning more about Waldorf education. Classes include, a circle time with seasonal rhymes and songs, a snack, a time for imaginative play and a story.

The Parent and Toddler groups cater for children from 1 – 3 years of age in our warm and welcoming environment. Classes are facilitated by our Toddler Teacher, a qualified Kindergarten teacher and mother who has many years experience in the Waldorf movement. Classes are run on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 – 11:00am. For more information contact our Admissions Officer.
