We have provided a programme to give you a taste of the upcoming prestigious Class 12 Projects that will be presented this year, and as always, it promises to wow us with two nights of incredible work. Please keep in mind that the order of this programme is subject to change in the case of unforeseen events.

These Projects are the culmination of many months of planning, hard work, thought, and effort. Our Class 12 pupils are challenged to set themselves a task of their choice, of some magnitude and then given 6 months to complete this task. It consists of not only their chosen project, but also a 5000 word research component, regular meetings with both internal and external mentors, a detailed journal of their journey, and then culminates with the presentations, where their speeches and stalls give insight into their amazing work. This process meets our young adults in Class 12 at this important stage of their lives – guiding them to explore their passions and possible future paths, while stretching them to find experts in the field of their choosing to be their external mentors, and to engage in meaningful research to support their work. Along the way, their internal mentors (staff members from our school), support them and hold them accountable to their dreams.

These projects are also the students’ final presentation and crowning achievement of their years of Waldorf education, after which they begin to prepare for their National Senior Certificate.

This event is the biggest pedagogical annual event at the Constantia Waldorf School and is always well attended. Please ensure that you arrive early enough to choose a seat and to take a walk around the hall to engage with each exhibition stall and the student manning it.

Refreshments will be on sale every evening and will be provided by the Class 9s this year, as a fundraiser for their Orange River Camp. Our Class 12 Raffle tickets will also be on sale at the event.

Everyone is warmly invited to come and watch, enjoy and engage. This is a deeply special opportunity to honour the Class 12s work, and to connect to the deeper meaning of our Waldorf education and community.
